Write to us

The quickest way to reach DoseStep is by email:

[email protected]

DoseStep is a small independent project, so a reply may take a few days. Every message is read.

What to write about

  • Corrections. If a result, a formula, a step in the working or a reference looks wrong, tell us. It helps to include the page address, the values you entered and the result you expected. The “Copy link with these values” button under each calculator gives you a link that already holds your inputs, so we can reproduce the problem in seconds. Corrections are the most useful messages we get, and we deal with them first.
  • Suggestions. Ideas for new calculators, clearer explanations, missing units or better worked examples are all welcome. So is feedback from educators on what would help in teaching.
  • Collaborations. Universities, nursing schools, educators and organisations interested in working with DoseStep can write to the same address.

Best not to send patient information

We recommend leaving out anything that could identify a patient: names, dates of birth, record or hospital numbers, photos of charts or prescriptions, or any mix of details that could point to a real person. To report a problem, the numbers you typed into the calculator are all we need. A message that contains patient information is deleted without being used.

No medical advice by email

DoseStep cannot give medical advice or answer questions about an individual patient, a specific prescription or whether a dose is right for someone. For those, we recommend speaking to the prescriber, a pharmacist or the team caring for the patient, and following your local protocols. See the disclaimer for more.

In an emergency

If someone may be at risk, email is not the right channel: we recommend calling your local emergency number. If you are abroad, you can find it in our emergency numbers by country.

Your data

Emails sent to this address are used only to reply and are deleted once they are no longer needed. The privacy policy has the details.
