Cookie policy
DoseStep sets no cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website can save in your browser, often to recognise you between visits or to follow you across sites. DoseStep sets no cookies of its own and uses no third-party service that sets them.
That means there are:
- no analytics cookies: we do not measure visits with tools that track individual visitors;
- no advertising or marketing cookies: the site shows no ads;
- no tracking or profiling cookies: nothing follows you to or from other websites;
- no login cookies: there are no accounts.
The fonts are served by DoseStep itself, so your browser sends no request to Google Fonts or any other font service.
Because no cookies are used, there is no cookie banner and nothing to accept or refuse.
What about the calculators?
The calculators do not need cookies. Everything you type stays in the open page in your browser and is gone when you close or reload it. If you click “Copy link with these values”, your inputs are written into the page address instead, so that link and your browser history will contain them. The privacy policy has more details.
Cloudflare, which delivers the site
Every DoseStep page reaches you through Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. In some cases, for example to check for automated traffic, Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security mechanisms of its own. DoseStep does not use them for analytics or tracking. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can always view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not change how DoseStep works.
If this changes
If DoseStep ever adds analytics or any other tool that uses cookies or similar technologies, this page will be updated first. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
